Alright, are you up for another challenge from Ephesians? This past Sunday, we finished Chapter 2 in this rich, amazing book. Here are just a few of the topics we’ve studied over the past month…
- God, The Father
- The Son of God, Jesus Christ
- The Holy Spirit
- Our identity as children of God
- The resurrection of Christ
- Spiritual death in Northern VA
- Spiritual life in Northern VA
- God’s mercy
- God’s grace
- Unity in The Gospel
- How to talk to spiritually dead people
Whew! That’s a lot to cover in 2 chapters of scriptures. I know this can seem intimidating and even heavier knowledge than what you feel ready for. Don’t come at these 2 chapters as a theologian, come at it as a child of God searching for your identity in Him. Period.
So, are you ready? Here’s my challenge this week…
BEFORE SUNDAY MORNING – Read Ephesians 1 & 2. Underline, highlight and make notes. Review your notes, briefly, that you took during the sermons. Ultimately, this is a challenge to fall more in love with God and His Word. Here is a quick guide to help, if you’re into those kind of things. (Feel free to read and study at your own pace)
- Wednesday – Read Ephesians 1:1-14
- Thursday – Read Ephesians 1:15-23
- Friday – Read Ephesians 2:1-10
- Saturday – Read Ephesians 2:11-22
Can’t wait to dive in more with you on Sunday! Keep living the dream!
